Man Faces Trial Over $5,000 Demand From Expatriate Over S3x

There is twist in a matter between a 26-year-of Nigerian who allegedly demanded $5,000 from an expatriate who is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Murtala Muhammad Airport terminal 2, Ikeja in Lagos State, western Nigeria.

The Nigerian, Rowaiye Omotayo, alleged that the expatriate, Christopher Pennick, molested him s3xually and demanded $5,000 as compensation for the assault or he will expose him.

While Pennick on his own part, insisted that Omotayo was blackmailing him by demanding the money by menace.

He also alleged that Omotayo sent threat messages to him through his phone asking him to pay the money or he would expose him and bring him down.

Consequently, Pennick went to the Airport Police Division and told the police that Omotayo was attempting to blackmail and extort money from him.

Omotayo was arrested and charged before Ogba Magistrate’s court on a four-count charge of intent to steal, extortion and forceful demand for the amount.

He pleaded not guilty.

The presiding Magistrate, Mr T. O. Shomade granted him bail in the sum of N3m with two sureties in like sum.

Omotayo was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail.

The matter was adjourned till 23 March, 2016.

As Omotayo was being taken to prison custody, he said he would open up with evidence to show that the Pennick actually molested him.
