Photos From Funmi Iyanda’s Honorary Fellowship Award

On Wednesday, November 25, Funmi Iyanda made history as first Black woman to be honoured at University of Cumbria.

The Nigerian media entrepreneur Funmi Iyanda received the honourary fellowship award for her contributions to human rights and sustainability.

The TV girl was supported by her sisters who came from Lagos and friends.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian student Ire Adewolu who graduated with first class in mathematics from the University of Leeds in the UK has developed an App,Lintivity. The App provides a platform which helps people to find like-minded individuals and share experiences with them. It allows people to see what is going on in specified locations, search for activities and provides the opportunity to engaging with the local community.
